Finding a natural solution
Happy May 5th. What are you doing to celebrate? If you’re like me, then today is the day to whip up your favorite tacos, snack on sensational salsa and, most importantly, mix yourself some margaritas. This year, why not try the stevia-sweetened mix Sinless Margarita. With only five calories per serving, I can safely say it is indeed sinless—and delicious to boost.
Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana), nature’s natural sweetener native to Paraguay, is not 100 percent identical in taste to that of sugar, but it can be pleasing with certain foods. This mix gets it right—it’s not too bitter and it’s not too sweet. Also, unlike sugar, it has virtually no calories and it doesn’t raise blood-sugar levels or promote tooth decay.

To make a simple libation, combine two to three parts Sinless Margarita mix with one part tequila.
You can also use this margarita mix to prepare delicious (and adorable!) cupcakes.

Try this recipe for Margarita Cupcakes. You simply combine white cake mix with 8 ounces of your margarita mix plus tequila, Grand Marnier (optional), egg whites, vegetable oil and grated lime zest. And don’t forget the Lime Buttercream Icing, which also calls for 1 tablespoon margarita mix plus butter, cream cheese, lime juice, lime zest, powdered sugar and fresh limes (for garnish).
