Tuesday Video: Make a Cardboard Chair

Robyn Griggs Lawrence thumbnailBrusspup, the artist who made today’s video, calls it “part tutorial and part entertainment”—and it is, indeed, both. I love the idea of making furniture out of cardboard, for its frugality and environmental friendliness. (I always feel guilty leaving great big pieces of useful cardboard in the recycling pile.)

Brusspup gives a good (and entertaining) tutorial here, and you can also find everything you need (except the cardboard) to make kid versions at Foldschool, which offers a free collection of downloadable patterns that can be printed and used to assemble stable pieces.
