Herbal Educational Services has announced it will host two conferences next year to help educate individuals across the country about herbal medicine, as it has done each year for nearly 20 years.

The Southwest Conference on Botanical Medicine will be held April 14 and 15, 2012 in Tempe, Arizona. By attending this conference, you’ll have the pleasure of listening to speakers such as Paul Bergner, the director of the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism, Naturopathic Physician Deborah Frances, and many others. Here, you’ll learn about which Chinese herbs are best for athletes, which botanicals are best for functional heart palpitations, and much more.

If you are unable to make the trip to Tempe, don’t worry. Herbal Educational Services will host a second conference in Black Mountain, North Carolina, June 2 to 4, 2012. Educate yourself about the role of environmental toxicants in common chronic diseases or discover how herbalism is shaping your future at the Medicines from the Earth conference. This conference will include a few familiar faces from the April gathering, but will also offer tips and viewpoints from other individuals such as Huffington Post blogger Walter Crinnion and Teresa Boardwine, the founder of Green Comfort School of Herbal Medicine.

You can learn more about medicinal herbs by attending the 2012 conferences,
