The tub surround is made of hammered metal, with copper tubing supporting the shower curtain. “And,” John laughs, “I purposely did the worst soldering job I could possibly do, to get the right look.” Because the room was originally an attic, the ceiling was too short for a shower. John cut a hole in the roof and lined it with hammered metal. While their only purpose is to hold the shower curtain, the copper pipes add the final touch.
