Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers who beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31 to 25 at the Super Bowl in Arlington, Texas. Packers’ territory is Wisconsin, a state well-known for its delicious cheese. Celebrate the Packers’ win by combining herbs and Wisconsin cheese. They go great together in the kitchen and offer an array of flavor.

Wisconsin cheeses have a heritage of more than 160 years and today the state produces more than 600 varieties, types and styles of cheese. The state has also won more excellence awards than any other state or country for their cheese.

When you start to experiment with mixing herb and cheese recipes start with a simple pairing such as an herb and cheese omelette. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh curly parsley, chopped, and 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped, to your next breakfast omelette.
