Most fruit trees and vines don’t need much fertilizer. Your best bet is compost or aged manure or grass clippings. If you can’t get any of those, you can use an all-purpose organic fertilizer. The most important thing you can do for your new trees is be sure to water them weekly throughout the summer and also during their second summer. That should get them off to a strong start.

I would also use liquid seaweed(kelp). Kelp does not have very
much Nitrogen,Phosphorus, and Potassium, but has alot of trace
minerals and natural plant growth hormones. The kelp will also help
the plants to be more drought resistant and healthier. Liquid kelp
is applied as a foliar spray. Mix 1 Tblsp liquid kelp with a gallon
of water and add 1-2 drops of lquid soap like Ivory not a
detergent. The soap will break down the surface tension of the
leaves and allow the leaves to take up more of the fertilizer. I
would apply the kelp spray at least 1-2 times per month.
